Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.

I have to admit, i aint great with a screw driver. I get by and all that, but i’m more of the ‘helper’ than the joiner, if you get me.

So, when i started to build my biggest project, i kept it quiet really. I put all my imagination into firstly creating the most wonderfully bizarre, but small pieces, then stress tested them with the help of co-workers.

The first part of my DIY master piece was infact, the character D.C. – king of the local Snowflakes in my Dragon Valley creation.(uncrowned of course).

I then created a few more of his Snowflake & Hipster buddies, like Tupps and Getlan. Once they were tested and stood up to the same stupidity and awesomeness of my D.C. character, i went on to create their leader, the saviour of Hellmart, the beast of Dragon Valley and all round bad ass, Dookie!!!! And so it began.

With my cast set, i placed them into a violent and oppressive realm i could relate to, and told the world about Dookie and his colourful life.

With my first novel complete, tradionally published, launched at a surreal festival here in the U.K. and wonderful reviews began to come in, i  bolted on a new episode. And then another….

Since then, Dookie has gone from a metiphorical bungalow to a multi-story high rise and its on its way to an empire.
