What’s something most people don’t understand?
In my view, most people don’t get that they aren’t free. Forget about anything else, haven’t we been woven a lie about our choices and voices? Everything we do and say has been dictated to us through generational teachings.
When i was in school, we were taught, for example, about the slaves who built the pyramids (yeah, don’t worry, i know it was really aliens). However, we now know that this was not true. These people may very well have been low paid and certainly moved where the work was, but so are we and so do we.
They had homes, shops, houses, bars, etc. They were paid for their labours! How are we, as average joes any better off nowadays?
I know i don’t see many CEO’s & politicians shopping where i shop or living on my street. Not to mention the pope has his own country wrapped in gold.
They had to obey their employers, work when told, take breaks when told to, etc. So do we!
Our so called civil liberties are curtailed by the 1% of our criminal population, rather than dealing with them with the firm hand. We are all punished.
We may not speak out of turn, we may not say certain words, express certain views, or even travel to different areas of our world without the ‘powers’ permission.
And for all these declined freedoms, we are taxed to keep us in line.
I don’t think much has changed over the past few thousand years.
Dookie, the global Sheriff however, believes his freedom is as precious as everyone elses in his Dragon Valley world. He therefore, stands against the opressors of his kin and fights to unslave his people. Unless he’s on a burger break, or a coffee break, or taking a dump. But otherwise he is generally a pain in the rectum to the corporate, religious and political ass hats that run his world.
So, don’t panic if your feeling a little oppressed, just grab a Dookie book and have a little giggle, little bit of excitment and a well earned chillout, cuz you’ll still be under the thumb tomorrow damn it!
