How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
I worked through the pandemic, in a shop of all things. I saw first had what this pandemic did to modern civilisation & what it continues to be blamed for too.
As our world leaders were on tv telling everyone to stay 2 metres or whatever, away from one another and to wash hands etc regularly, the retailers & governments began to cash in & our polite, patient society became a scene i liken to something from a purge movie!
Next, the price of items like soap doubled & trebled as our neighbours shoved us out the way from filling shelves so they could take as much as they could of the over priced items we had, giving no thought to my safety or anyone elses needs.
And the new F. U. society of ‘me, me’ people took over! Supported of course by the newly wealthy corporations who love the fact that they can now coerce these easily manipulated whiny little morons into buying anything they are peddling, by simply giving a sample to an online ‘influencer’!!!
I have adapted by simply undestanding that our so called polite civilisation is now dead. It has been replaced! The corporations now run things full time, and they are run by nasty power hoarders. I go into much more detail in my Dookie series of novels. They detail how the powerful Ass Demons and there hoards of suited Ass Lickers keep the citizens under the thumb, poor and scared.
Until that is, Dookie steps up and starts fighting back. Fighting for the rights and fair pay of his fellow citizens. And fight he does, with his ever growing army of followers and machine guns too!!
