What place in the world do you never want to visit? Why?
Ooh this ones a biggy for me. Although i know these places are ‘of historical significance’, if nothing else, i could never see beauty or relax in them.
These places i will mention, were built on lies at best. They forced payment for them by the weakest and poorest of the times; those in the most need to recieve not give.
In most cases the beneficiary used crooked governments or royals to force their labour to work, pay their wanted money or ‘taxes’, etc.
Much like my characters in the Dookie novels that fight for ‘The Army of Light’ or freedom, i can’t stand this sort of sh^t!
So the gold encrusted pope’s palace and his grounds are on my ‘no go’ list. Followed by the pyramids & great wall of China and countless others, built on the fear and pain of others.
I do realise that not much has changed for us lower classes over time, except maybe that some of us have the voice and tech to bring these injustices to light. So the light is what i search for and Dookie is my torch!
More people are currently enslaved by distugusting, powerful and wealthy people & corporations right now, than ever before in history. My Dookie novels are there, in some way, to bring these bast^#ds to light. A voice in the dark for those oppressed, under paid and trodden on. Although i write them with humour and filth, this is the underlying message.
So, pick up a copy now and whilst you enjoy the laughs and recoil at the shock, know that the steps are being taken to bring a voice to the enslaved poor.
