List the people you admire and look to for advice…
Admiration is a quality hard come by in my head. Even as an active Marine, calling some office ‘Sir’ was a big task. We were supposed to ‘respect the rank’, but i could rarely see past the d!ckhead before me. I would therefore greet most officers with the ‘approved for all’, “Uurrr” rather than sir!
One exception to this rule was my boss , Gunner Sanchez! The man was just a decent human, good boss and fair fella. I can respect that. Admire, no. But close.
So, as i say, i admire few people. A few people like parents i guess, but i’m sure most of us do, but we know the struggles they endure or went through, so there would be no reason to mention them. Boring right?
No, if i were to mention but a short list of todays topical few, i would start with:
- Donald Trump. Like him or hate him, this geeza has staying power! To fight back against the curruption of nearly the whole political establishment & their clearly purchased news media outlets, whilst facing ruin & prison, is some show of balls rarely witnessed.
- Staying on the pitical spectrum, Nigel Farage. Again, a person all but forced into power by the established politicians distain for him, their corrupt banks and their purchased news media companies. A man that not only survived being ‘cancelled’ by these perverse power hoarders, one that used that momentum to fight against them to now run most councils in England and will surely be the next voted in leader of our island.
- Dookie. Now i know he isn’t real, but he gets sh*t done damn it! He see’s injustice or corruption and goes out to fix it! He loads his weapon and his loyal troops follow him into battle. Plus he’s just a lucky f#^ker, no matter where he is, he always finds a way of getting a cheese burger!!! Whats not to admire?
- Myself! In a culture where saying what i believe is frowned upon, i stand apart! F^ck em’!! I refuse to accept that a man is a cat for instance, i know that our news outlets have a political bias and corrupt the truth they tell us, i know for fact our governments, both local and country wide are full of over paid personell and their bloated pensions. I know these things and shout them (and more) through my novels and comics called DOOKIE.
