What does freedom mean to you?
Freedom is at best a dream that none of us have truely known. As i’m sure many of you know by now, my Dookie series of novels covers this subject matter, all be it with a lot of sick humour, guns and bad language. (but how else would you tell an awesome story eh)
We are told we are free here in the U.K., however, there are words you can’t say, places you can’t go and things you can’t see.
What is freedom to one, is a constraint to another.
I see things like passports and borders as a matter of imprisonment rather than that of an opportunity to travel. The right to live and work should be a global fact, not something some politicians use to manipulate a country’s finacials and population controls.
If we were all free to speak, live and work where we want and how we want, the powers that be would crumble to the populist movements. People wouldn’t stand for far right or far leftisms, nor for hefty taxations. We would just simple leave!
This would end corrupt politics, brutal dictatorships, bast@rd money hoarding CEO’s, etc.
So, to my mind, we will never be free until we the people truely control our systems of governments in a transparent way. This will never happen whilst we still hold on to ancient flags and religions.
To be free: unknown.
But you sure can read about one guy and his pals who are: DOOKIEBOOKS.COM
