What TV shows did you watch as a kid?
I was lucky enough to grow up during the 80’s. A mass of quality was being produced for our eyeballs to consume back then. Of course, these days they have to put an ‘ooh this programme may contain…’ bullsh!t on em’ to air, but back then, we weren’t all delicate little flowers, wrapped in cotton wool and scared of the real world. We were raised right!!
Any how, here goes;
The A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, knight rider, air wolf, miami vice, cheers, only fools and horses, the young ones, the fall guy, bay watch, magnum PI, Blackadder, WWF (before wwe) and the list goes on and on.
Mind you, i still found time for thunder cats and he-man, plus going on my bike, skateboard or playing football (soccer). And in all that time, even throughout the 90′ too where i watched;
Buffy, seinfeld, fresh prince, baywatch (still), beavis and butthead, friends, fraiser, simpsons, south park as well as a healthy addiction to an interactive website called joe cartoon. You know, i never got offended, upset or anything.
Come to think of it, i watched some fella ‘kill kenny’ in south park and then went to a Danzig and white zombie (now rob zombie) concert, took part in several massive moshpits and still, nobody felt anything but happy.
Bring back quality instead of re-branding the same ol’ sh!t i say.
