How do you celebrate holidays?

Well celebrate is a big f^ckin’ word i think! Who actually ‘celebrates’ any of the holidays we have in western culture anymore? Haven’t they all just become ‘me’ fests for the narcasitic?

I don’t say that to be a d!*k, but lets be honest, Christmas, for instance, aint about a mythical magic mans magic son anymore, its about who’s getting the best presents and who’s munchin’ the best and most food!!

Halloween is’nt anything to celebrate either, its just an american ‘holiday’ that encouraged people to dress up as scary monsters and sh!t. However, of late this has been ‘woked-up’ by the ‘oh it doesn’t have to be scary’ crowd. I mean, whats scary about a princess or a spider-man damn it? I know the whole cat whiskers thing was over done by the boring, but a few years ago i was sent home from work for being ‘too scary’!!! Pu$$y’s!!

And lets not get me started on other ‘holidays’ we don’t even get a day off to celebrate k. Why does a magic man nobody’s ever met get us days off, yet mothers day, fathers day, end of WW1, WW2, etc get nothing?? Priorities are all wrong i reckon.

Celebrate? No, these holidays are in place to increase revenue not for us to celebrate.

Anyways, i’m off to find out what the Mrs wants for xmas so…
