Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?
I am patriotic, but as i’ve said before, flags and borders are a challenge for me. I do care deeply about where i live and our culture.
This culture is under fire though! Here in blighty we live on a knifes edge. Our politicians have spent decades encouraging people from distant shores to come to our ‘multi-cultural’ country. Yet once here they have not intergrated to our way of life.
Many have come to escape brutal and harsh places which lack many freedoms we take for granted, yet they seem to continue to try and live and force locals to live in this old manner. This has created a divide as they try to force our culture out.
To make matters worse, most of europe has done the same thing! The whole system is starting to unravel and as far as i can see, war is on its way and many people living in our country will not stand to fight for it. For some want it broken and many are just too weak minded and scared to stand up.
As a retired U.S.Marine i will, I will stand for my nation just as i would still stand with my fellow Devil Dogs. My freedoms are the biggest part of my culture. Free to speak, go get coffee, work and love as i see fit and i will defend that for myself and the next generation.
We have elections here in a few months and i will be voting for a change that is needed for sure. A change that should see our local culture elevated once again.
