Which languages do you speak and how did that impact your life?
My first language is obviously English, i am a Brit after all. However, i am fluent in A**hole, Hillbilly and getting there with most of the important sign language and its hand motion stuff. Middle finger being the most internationally recognised of course.
I’ve tried to learn French in school over here and then Spanish over in the States. I failed! I learned HTML and a bit of Javascript if that counts though?
But i’m happy sticking with English, to be honest. Now when i say i speak English, i do mean proper British English. I use my full diction! I don’t believe that these ‘naughty’ words should be held back or hidden. I use them daily and think we all should. I’ve never worked out how a word can upset anyone. Its just a word! Its the intent behind why and/or how it was said that could bring offence. I mean, i could call someone a cucumber and have it mean something entirely different.
Oh heck i’m gosh darn blabbing on aren’t i? Or do you think i meant…
