What was your first ever videogame?
I’ve never been big on gaming. I had a real childhood see. As a kid i went out to play with friends. We’d ride our bikes or skateboards, run around like lunatics, play football (soccer), explore the nature reserve nearby, etc. You know, all the stuff the so called snowflakes, hipsters and genzedurs have missed out on it seems.
Me and my brother had a commodore 64!! I remeber we had a few games for it. Outrun was my brothers poison i think. A ferrari racing down the road. I liked bmx biker. Same thing but on a bike. Lol. I didn’t play too much, only on rainy days etc.
Again, i was out experiencing life, humans and other creatures! Not viewing others experiences through a lens and giving my unsolicited opinions to the world about their sh*t.
For example; I once spent a whole summer with my buddy david, trying to make crossbows and bows and arrows. We were about 8!!! Good times. Good times.
So, put the controllers down, go for a walk outside, find a nice spot under a tree or in a quiet coffee shop, break out a Dookie novel and melt away into a surreal bit of literature. Your eyeballs and brain box will thank you. Obviously you’ll have to appologise for all the laughter, but thats ok, you can count it as positive human contact.
