When do you feel most productive?
I remember back in 1994 i felt productive, then it happened again a few years later. I can’t remember what happened before hand but in both instances i certainly remember the plumber having issues unblocking the toilet!
Since those ‘good old days’ i was just smearing along, kinda waiting for that next real chapter or ureka moment i guess, until it finally hit me!!
I should turn my dookie into a Dookie!
So, back in about 2017ish i became productive again, but this time in a different way. I began writing my breakout piece; Dookie: A colourful life. Then, in 2022 i went in search of a real publisher to see if my Dookie was good enough to be spread across the world.
In 2023 Incunabula media launched my 1st novel at the Volcano theatre in Swansea.
Since then i have continued to be productive, both on and off the toilet. I’ve written 4 more novels and written 2 comics that have also made it out into the world. A few more comics are already in the works with Incunabula and i’ve just started writing my 6th novel.
Obviously i continue to be productive on the toilet…. i am a carnivore after all!
