What’s a moment that made you realize you were stronger than you thought?
You know what guys, i aint gonna get all deep and personal in this moment k. Sure, like all of us i’ve been through some traumatic sh*t, but lets not dwell on nor drudge up that depressing crap eh!
Lets get down to the real stuff!
Getting my 1st book traditionally published was a big ‘wow’ deal for me. Getting up in front of a large crowd of book worms, artists, future fans and what not was an even bigger ‘dig down deep’ moment, as i tried to sell the attending masses my story.
It went well!
But its not easy to put yourself out there and say ‘hey, this is the stuff my brain comes up with’. It takes a lot and no matter what stuff you create; pen to paper, brush to canvas, voice to mic, etc. It takes an inner strength to hold it up and say its yours. But when that first person tells you they liked it, its all worth the stress n’ work.
For example, a nice lady posted this online last week to me about my Dookie series of books:
“I seriously recommend these, they’re brilliantly funny, extremely clever and definitely not for the faint hearted (or snowflakes lol)…
Tony you’re a bloody genius“
Thought that was real nice. I’ve contacted her and arranged some merch to be sent out to her!
